Turkey's Food Trade Visit to China has come to a Successful Conclusion
On December 12-14, in order to promote the development of Turkish enterprises in China and enable Turkish enterprises to have a better understanding of the Chinese market, Guangdong Imported Food Association, together with the Turkish consulate, the Turkish Aegean Exporter’s Association and 11 Turkish enterprises, organized a Turkish food trade visit to China in Guangzhou.
On December 12, our association organized nearly 50 enterprises to conduct a one-to-one business matchmaking event with the Turkish enterprises in Guangzhou. Products of this matching activity include: figs, raisins, olive oil, fresh fruit, wheat flour, snack food, etc. The two sides of Chinese and Turkish enterprises responded warmly and had a harmonious conversation at the activity site. Most of the buyers said that the quality of Turkish products is very high and they are interested in long-term cooperation with the Turkish enterprises.
After the docking activity, the organizer invited our association and Chinese enterprises to the dinner site. In the course of the dinner, the Chinese and Turkish enterprises have a deeper communication with the interested enterprises during the pleasant conversation, so as to fully understand the will of both sides.
On December 13, our association held a seminar on imported food in order to deepen the understanding of Turkish enterprises on China's import industry. On the scene of the event, our association invited the Wisepower Transportation & Distribution Group and Guangzhou Jointek International Supply Chain Co., Ltd. to give a professional and detailed explanation on imported food customs, commodity inspection, logistics and other professional knowledge. At the same time, our association shared and exchanged the concept of "four-in-one" with the Turkish enterprises and was unanimously recognized by everyone.
At the event site, our president, Mr. Qi Yilong and relevant leaders of the Turkish Aegean Exporter’s Association signed a strategic cooperation agreement, and hoped that both sides can make joint efforts to lay a stable foundation for the Turkish enterprises to come to China.
After the seminar, our association led the Turkish manufacturers and enterprises to Hema fresh, Neighbor Mart, Lotus Market and other large business supermarkets for investigation. Through the on-site investigation, the representatives of Turkish enterprises can further understand the positioning of Turkish products in the Chinese market and understand the market demand.
After the supermarket inspection, the Turkish enterprise food trade mission was successfully concluded. In this activity, Turkish enterprises can learn a lot about food import to the Chinese market, and domestic importers can have one-on-one and in-depth exchanges with Turkish enterprises without going abroad, so as to strengthen the cooperation between China and Turkey. As the co-organizer of this event, our association was highly praised and appreciated by the host Turkish consulate and the Turkish Aegean Exporter’s Association. It is hoped that both sides can jointly promote the friendly exchanges and development between China and Turkey through this activity.
