IFA Delegation's Visit to SIBS Malaysia Concluded Successfully
Guangdong Imported Food Association was invited to organize more than 10 professional buyers to go to the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) to have a further connection with local food manufacturers from October 10 to 13, so as to promote economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between China and Malaysia.
The fifth Selangor International Business Summit 2019(SIBS), hosted by Invest Selangor Berhad, was held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC). This year's SIBS consists of exhibitions and conferences with an exhibition area of 43,000 square meters, over 850 standard booths and exhibitors from Malaysia, China, India, Japan, South Korea, Australia and other ASEAN countries.
There was a wide range of matchmaking products, including durian, coconut, chocolate, coffee, candy, beverages, spices, tea, meat and so on, among which, durian, coconut and their side products are particularly popular with buyers. Buyers said that Southeast Asian products are very suitable for the Chinese consumer market, as they are of high quality, competitive in price and unique in taste and their market share in China has increased significantly in recent years. Besides, buyers not only had a deeper understanding of the local consumer market through this exhibition, but also achieved the intent of cooperation with exhibitors at the expo.
SIBS provides an excellent platform for enterprises to promote trade exchanges, establish strategic cooperation and expand their business network. Selangor is now a strategic partner of China and plays an important role in China's trade and investment. The quality of buyers invited by Guangdong Imported Food Association this time has been highly recognized by the organizers of the exhibition, and both sides are looking forward to cooperating again next year.
