Association Representative Visited Import and Export Food Safety Office of Huangpu Customs
In order to promote the development of imported food industry and to facilitate the publicity and release of customs policy, IFA president and his delegation visited the Import and Export Food Safety Office of Huangpu Customs on December 18 and had a face-to-face communication with Director Liu Fang and other leaders of Import and Export Food Safety Office of Huangpu Customs.
Firstly, IFA President Qi briefed the leaders on the basic functions of the Association as well as the four-in-one imported food platform, and then briefly described problems that member units encountered in daily customs clearance of food and their appeals to the customs representatives.
Relevant leaders of Import and Export Food Safety Office of Huangpu Customs fully recognized our work in the field of imported food. At the same time, they expressed their willingness to make use of the F2C platform to strengthen the publicity of policies related to imported food, jointly discuss the difficulties encountered by enterprises in customs clearance, jointly promote the facilitation of imported food customs clearance, and make efforts to further improve the business environment.
In the future, IFA will regularly issue customs policy interpretations or cases, as well as monthly sharing reports on key early warning information, and jointly organize comprehensive customs policy interpretation talks with Import and Export Food Safety Office of Huangpu Customs. If member enterprises have any problems or questions about the customs declaration and clearance of imported food in the future, they may contact the Secretariat of the Association at any time. IFA will make efforts to communicate with the Import and Export Food Safety Office of Huangpu Customs, so as to solve the questions on customs clearance for everyone.
