In order to strengthen communication and contact between IFA members, to promote interaction and improve cohesiveness among the members, Guangdong Imported Food Association and its vice-chairman unit Guangzhou Century Zhao Ye Economic Development Co., Ltd. have jointly organized the “Guangdong Imported Food Association Member Exchange Day and Exchange Conference on Imported Food Industry Trend Under Regular Epidemic Situation”, and the event drew to a successful close on September 3, 2020.
At the meeting, IFA President Qi Yilong firstly welcomed the arrival of participating company representatives and introduced the theme of this exchange meeting. President Qi noted that the novel coronavirus epidemic had posed a severe impact to various trades and industries since the beginning of this year, and all walks of life have also taken corresponding measures as domestic epidemic situation has gradually become regular. Being subject to the epidemic, IFA is unable to lead its member enterprises to visit all over the world this year. Therefore, every IFA member was invited to come together, hoping that we can discuss the tendency of the imported food industry and come up with ideas together through the communication among members.
As the host of this event, Mr. Cai Zhixiong, General Manager of Guangzhou Century Zhao Ye Economic Development Co., Ltd., made a brief introduction of Century Zhao Ye and the main business of the company to the leaders in attendance. Subsequently, IFA Executive Vice President Jiang Ding reported IFA activity plans in the second half of the year to the participating representatives, and hopefully, IFA will be able to lead member enterprises to develop the market across the country and enhance product awareness through the activities organized by the Association.
During the exchange, we had a lively discussion and made suggestions revolving around the tendency of the imported food industry and the work of IFA, while sharing members' experience and resources in the meantime. Some of them said that they hoped that IFA could have a better understanding of the government's supporting policies and share with member enterprises, so that we pull together and get through the hard times of this year.
Through this member exchange day, IFA has further perceived the thoughts of members about IFA and their advice, and has understood their inner voices. In the future, IFA will work harder to implement all the demands and suggestions of IFA members in earnest, and gather up all the power of the Association, so as to provide better services for the member enterprises.
